Participants in an upcoming seminar – mainly Lutheran pastors and church workers – will explore personal future directions, potential transitions and next chapters in life and work, according to the event's sponsor.

The seminars will focus on pastors and professional church workers who are seeking deeper discernment into their ministries.

The announcement of two conferences in November in Seattle and Spokane was made Tuesday by Rev. Phil Streufert, director of Washington state-based Consultation to Clergy, a resource for Lutheran pastors and church workers. Streufert is a pastoral counselor and marriage and family therapist, according to the ministry's website.

The site says Streufert uses a therapeutic approach to pastoral counseling, and he integrates "spiritual resources and the insights and techniques of counseling psychology to provide understandings that promote health, well being and effective ministry."

The Crossroads Vocational Discernment/Transition Seminar will take place from November 15 to 17 at the Lutheran Campus enter at the University of Washington.

A similar event will take place in Spokane, Washington from Nov. 12 to 14.
