In Fayetteville, Ark., a recent ordinance has been passed to protect transgender citizens from discrimination in all business establishments. Although the gay and transgender members of the Fayetteville community could be happy with this news, '19 Kids and Counting' star Michelle Duggar is feeling the opposite way.

"I don't believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls," said Duggar in a statement.

Duggar is pertaining to transgenders entering female restrooms.

This comment has angered many members of the LGBT community. This led to Jim Wissick creating a Change.org petition to cancel "19 Kids and Counting," encouraging its home network, TLC to take heed.

"Just because someone is transgendered doesn't mean they are a child predator or a rapist," said Wissick on the petition's page.

Wissick further claims that the Duggars have offered massive amounts of cash to avoid the effectiveness of the law, particularly to businesses and establishments so they can fire employees who are members of the LGBT or refuse service to them.

In a matter of days, over 100,000 people signed the petition, and the numbers keep on increasing.
