Ever since Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald tied the knot on Nov. 1, 2014, fans have been speculating if the couple are expecting their first child. Jessa's elder sister, Jill Dillard, got pregnant soon after her marriage to Derick and viewers even dubbed the child a honeymoon baby. So, could Jessa be pregnant by following the footsteps of her elder sister?

While there is no confirmation of the same, Jessa Duggar did express her desire to expand her family by adopting a child with husband Ben. In an interview with Celebrate Arkansas magazine, Jessa answers to a question about having little Seewalds by saying, "We definitely look forward to the future and whatever that may hold. We would love to have children of our own, and we would also love to adopt. It's something we are constantly praying about."

However, this goes against the religious teachings of the family as their religious leader, Bill Gothard, preaches against adoption. Gothard believes that the sins of the parents are passed on to their children, therefore, discouraging families from adopting children. 

Jessa and Ben also expressed their flexibility in moving out of the state, even though they both love living in Arkansas. Ben wants to work in the ministry and seemed comfortable in moving out. He told the magazine that, "Who really knows where life might lead us? It could take us to the ends of the earth. We are just trying to be flexible and open to any new routes that our life might take."

Speculations of Jessa being pregnant were further enhanced when the official TLC Facebook page of "19 Kids And Counting" posted a picture of Jessa and Ben and a heavily pregnant Jill and Derick with the caption, "New husbands. New babies. New season." Some fans say that Jessa and Ben are waiting for the new season to air, after which they will make the announcement of Jessa's pregnancy. Season nine airs on Feb. 17 at 9 p.m. on TLC.
