'19 Kids And Counting' news: Josiah Duggar courting girlfriend Marjorie Jackson

(People/Official Instagram of Derick Dillard (@derickdillard).)Baby Israel David was born on April 6 to parents Jill and Derick Dillard.

While one Duggar gives birth, another plans on getting married. It seems like this time cannot get any better for the devout Christian family.

People reports that 18-year-old Josiah Duggar is courting 17-year-old girlfriend Marjorie Jackson. The Duggar family member was taking Spanish lessons from her mother, 40-year-old Analucia, when he noticed her. The romantic pair announced their courtship on April 6, the same day his 23-year-old sister Jill Dillard gave birth to a handsome baby boy named Israel David.

While Josiah was impressed by the young damsel, he became even more enamored by her during a mission trip to El Salvador in December 2014. Josiah works in his father's construction company.

For Marjorie Jackson, the attraction was instant and she has been smitten with Josiah for some time now. She told People, "I met him at Spanish class a few years back. For me it was an immediate thing. I have always admired him and his family."

Josiah, meanwhile, spoke of the new-found courtship, "It's been going very well. I met Marjorie a few years ago, when I was taking Spanish lessons at her house, and I was very impressed with the way she was with her siblings and her love for the Lord." Fans of the show "19 Kids And Counting" will see a special message from the couple on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.

Jill Dillard, better known as Jill Duggar, gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Israel David at the hospital. The couple shared pictures of the new baby on their official website. Baby Israel weighs 9lbs 10oz and is 23 inches in length. He was the longest baby born in the hospital this year, reports Daily Mail. The parents had to rush and buy new clothes since the old ones were too small for him.

Jessa Duggar, who has been married to Ben Seewald for five months, has not shared any news of pregnancy news, although rumors continue to swirl online.
