'19 Kids and Counting' star Jill Duggar announcing pregnancy with husband Derick Dillard [WATCH]
It is a wonderful time for newlyweds Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard as they have announced that they are expecting a child.
On August 20, TLC posted a press release confirming the pregnancy, with the network being pleased and thrilled for the wonderful announcement.
23-year-old Jill Duggar is the first of the 19 kinds in the popular TLC show to start her own family.
25-year-old Derick Dillard was introduced to the expecting Jill by her father, Jim Bob, after thinking that the two might hit it off. The couple was obviously struck by each other's personalities and their strong faiths that brought them even closer.
"When my dad first introduced Derick and I, we spent hours texting, calling, and talking on Skype," said Jill back in April, way before the two got married, just during the time of her engagement to Derick.
"We knew within days that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together," the 19 Kids and Counting star continued in the interview, as reported by US Magazine.
"I love Derick's desire to follow God and to serve others," said Jill, referring to her new husband. The couple exchanged vows on June 21 in a ceremony in Arkansas
"Derick is so romantic," Jill added.
