"American Horror Story: Hotel" is coming out in a few weeks but before it hits the small screen, FX has given fans a sneak peek of what will welcome them when the show opens.

If everyone thought the latest trailer "Hallways" is creepy, the season's opening credits is just as eerie as the show continues its tradition of flashing freaky images in the main title sequence. In the fifth season's, the Ten Commandments and the cast members' names — flashed as old motel-ish lights — are interspersed with spine-tingling clips of what fans may expect.

Each clip in the opening sequence has something to do with the Commandment flashed on screen. There are images of scary-looking pale kids ("No. 5 Honour thy father and thy mother"); a floating character in an all-white garb ("No. 3 Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain"); a woman who turns into a skeleton ("No. 6 Thou shalt not kill"); a bleeding knee ("No. 4 Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy"); and a running kid who keeps appearing and reappearing ("No. 9 Thou shalt not bear false witness").

There are several more clips that are enough to induce nightmares, like the bed that produces arms and embraces people or the kid in a gas mask, and several more bloodied imagery.

The inclusion of the Ten Commandments in the opening credits hint at biblical undertones for the fifth season. Just how much of the Bible is going to matter into the season remains to be seen.

"Hotel" has pop singer Lady Gaga as its main star and the new clip proves that, with the singer's name as the finale of sorts to the title sequence. Also starring are "AHS" regulars Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Angela Bassett. Returning actors from previous seasons but with different roles are Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, and Denis O'Hare. Joining the horror anthology series for the first time are Chloe Sevigny and Cheyenne Jackson.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres on FX this Oct. 7.
