Emma Roberts has been on the 'American Horror Story' season 4 since 'Coven,' and it looks like Roberts will play a huge role, beginning with the upcoming premiere.

Roberts is set to play enchantress Maggie Esmeralda, a fortune teller that will tell tales of horror in the upcoming season. Roberts has posted a photo of herself in costume, and by the looks of her adorable face and clothes, it's hard to tell the frightening reality that her character will face.

Roberts has said in an interview that American Horror Story: Freak Show is indeed "scarier" than the other past seasons of AHS.

"I have to say, 'Freak Show' is really scarier," Roberts said during an interview with E! News.

"I read the script and I was having nightmares," continued the actress.

Roberts is not the only one who attests to the scare factor of this season. Show producer, Ryan Murphy, talked about how some of the crew members are having nightmares since shooting scenes for "Twisty The Clown."

"Two crew members told me they have had nightmares about this clown since we started shooting -- and they're not even scared of clowns. I think he's pretty extraordinary because, when you see why he's a clown and why he's wearing the mask ... just you wait," Murphy said in an interview with Buzzfeed.

The Season 4 premiere  of FX's horror anthology, American Horror Story: Freak Show, is airing on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
