"American Horror Story: Freak Show" has already taken down the big top and has moved on. A hotel will now be the setting of America's favorite horror anthology.

The TV series has already been picked up for a fifth season.  But aside from the title and some teases about the cast, producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have been very stingy with information about the show's direction. However, a "TV Line" report says that the cast and crew of "American Horror Story: Hotel" are set to reveal some spoilers about the show at next month's San Diego Comic-Con.

"American Horror Story" veterans Angela Bassett, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson will be back for another round of scares. Joining them this season are Matt Bomer and Stefani Germanotta, who is more known by her stage name Lady Gaga. This will be the singer's first foray into television acting. Several of her cast mates (Matt Bomer, Kathy Bates) have already expressed their excitement on working with the talented thespian.

One person who will be sorely missed this season is Jessica Lange. The legendary actress has been a big part of "AHS" since the very first season. She has portrayed an overly protective mother, a flawed mother superior of an asylum, a head witch and a circus ring master. But the 66-year-old Lange has confirmed that she would not be returning in the next installation of the popular show.

Lange told "Deadline" that she is confident that AHS will still thrive despite her absence. The actress originally signed up for just one season but got hooked on the show.

"There is always an end to everything," the award-winning actress shared. She added that she does not have any regrets about her stay on the show.

"They wrote such characters for me – so diverse and wild," she said. "They gave me so much to do every season in a time in my career where that is the exception, not the rule anymore."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" will be aired starting October 2015.
