"American Horror Story: Hotel" has yet to premiere but people are already starting to talk about the next season — or seasons — in 2016, if people behind the show do decide to release two "AHS" shows next year.

"American Horror Story" has, no doubt, become more popular over the years. From 2011's "Murder House" to last year's "Freak Show," the show has definitely gained more grounding from its fans base to critical response.

The last season of FX's horror thriller television show gained the most number of viewership. Not only that, it also bagged more nominations than any other seasons in the franchise. It is then not a tall jump to say that "Hotel" is expected to beat the previous season's numbers and achievements.

Creator and executive producer, Ryan Murphy, proves he has enough faith in the upcoming season. He has already started talking about seasons six and seven — both of which are being considered for release next year. He says his writing and production team are looking at releasing a new season in the usual fall schedule and another one in spring.

Murphy tells Entertainment Weekly, "We're doing something that we've never done before on the show where we're doing two different groups of writers rooms. Some of our writers will be bouncing around but a whole different group coming in late August. The next thing we're crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark."

While the 2016 iteration (or iterations) is/are being decided on, fans, for the meantime, can look forward to the release of this year's "Hotel." Going back to its primal fear roots, "American Horror Story's" latest season will bring viewers to a hotel where anything is possible despite being behind closed doors.

Making her debut in the series' season five is pop singer Lady Gaga, who will play Hotel Cortez's owner Elizabeth. She will be involved in a love triangle with Finn Wittrock's Tristan Duffy and Matt Bomer's Donovan. Also to appear in the new season are "AHS" regulars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, and Angela Bassett.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" starts the scare fest on FX this Oct. 13.
