With a famous creator behind the development of the game "Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey," it comes as no surprise as to how it has been capturing the attention of gaming pundits and players who are curious to know how the evolution-themed offering will turn out.

Recently, the brain behind the game, Patrice Desilets, provided more details and shared that players will get to journey from the time when man first appeared on earth and experience how he proceeded to take over and ultimately destroy it.

Desilets, who was involved in the creation of the "Assassin's Creed" gaming franchise is hoping that the experience he gained from the famous series, would also rub off on the upcoming "Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey."

However, given the scope of the game and its design, many have described it as "ambitious" and added that they will have to wait until the first gameplay lands next year to see if Desilets will actually manage to pull it off.

In an interview with the gaming site Kotaku, the creator explained that he wanted the game to show how man progressed from being a chimp to a dominate force. The game, he stated, will also explore how the generations that came after the first human-like creatures dealt with the repercussions of actions taken by their forefathers.

"Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey" is currently being developed by Panache Digital Games. With the current pace of development, the seven-member team working on the game are hoping to have a playable version ready by next year.

As for the game, once players enter, they will step into the character of a pre-human ape-like creature, Orrorin Tugenensis. The trailer released at E3 revealed that they will find themselves in the midst of a jungle where they will have to survive on their own.
