The stars and director of the upcoming Marvel superhero flick, 'Ant-Man,' briefly talked about their characters in an interview with Entertainment Weekly taped during the 2014 Comic Con.

Ant-Man is one of the latest movie adaptation projects of Marvel, and fans cannot wait for its July 2015 release.

With fans anxious for details, the film's main actors, Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly during the 2014 Comic Con in San Diego.

Rudd plays Scott Lang, or the alter ego of Ant-Man, while Douglas portrays the scientist Dr. Hank Pym.

"There are levels. There are some pretty bad thieves and there's some really good thieves, let's be honest. There's people who do it for the right reasons," quipped Rudd about Ant-Man's intentions.

Though revealing his thoughts, the actor remained tight-lipped on major details about his character.

"You don't want to give away too much here. The blow-dart might come out. Right in your neck. Marvel's serious, they have blow darts aimed at all of us right now," Rudd went on to joke during the interview.

Meanwhile, Douglas shared a little more regarding his character:

"I need help, I desperately need help. I need someone who's a master thief, someone with a brilliant mind, and somebody who can pull off a really great heist," said Douglas, referring to Pym's need for Ant-Man's assistance.

Ant-Man tells the story of Scott Lang, a petty thief who uses a special chemical that shrinks him and increases his strength. This allows him to break into homes, banks, and other kinds of buildings without being noticed.

Dr. Hank Pym is the inventor of the above substance, and trains Lang into adapting as Ant-Man.
