Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this year is scheduled in June and speculations have revealed that a brand new MacBook lineup—perhaps, the newest MacBook Pro—will be unveiled.

According to Apple Insider, Kuo of KGI Securities (a Chinese financial broker and investment banker) said, in a note to investors, that upgrades of MacBook lineup could arrive this June. He forecasted that the tech giant's laptops will bring growth to its sales this year. If demand of the refreshed MacBooks will ramp up, it will also be advantageous to suppliers SZS and Casetek.

Kuo, however, focused his predictions on Apple's sales performance and not on the details of the speculated "upgrades" of the MacBooks. He did not also specify which MacBook lineup will be getting the update, but his report is a positive indication that a new set of laptops will be coming out this year.

The said forecast indeed hints of a likely release of new MacBooks, but not much is known about the new line. It is possible that the Cupertino-based tech company's sight is focused on the completion of the upcoming Intel "Skylake" process that is eyed to power its next-generation laptops.

Skylake is the Intel Broadwell's successor designed to improve the past processor's performance. It is reportedly capable of increasing CPU processing by 10 to 20 percent, and 16 to 41 percent graphic integration. Its reduced size of 14-nanometer is said to contribute to lesser power consumption—boosting its battery life to as much as 30 percent.

Since there is also a reported Apple event this March, another prediction suggests that the newest MacBook Pro will also be revealed next month. But it is more likely to be an event for their newest handheld devices—iPhone 5SE and iPad Air 3. The upcoming MacBook Pro might also be the start of the USB-C port implementation—Apple's newest setting of trend.
