Rumors have been going around that the next-generation Apple iPhones will have a pressure-sensitive technology called Force Touch. And if reports from Bloomberg are to be believed, then the newest iPhone models have just entered the early production phase and Force Touch will definitely be part of the design.

Force Touch, a feature which was first introduced in the new Apple Watch and the latest MacBook model, expanded some functionalities on Apple's most recent devices by allowing users to adjust the force applied on the screen.

It has been two years since the Cupertino company began negotiating with suppliers to perfect the said technology and Bloomberg reports that "people with knowledge of the matter" confirms the said feature will indeed be integrated into all the latest iteration of Apple's smartphones, which, have reportedly started early production.

This is an improvement on a previous Apple Insider rumor that Force Touch will only be exclusive to the larger iPhone.

The report also says the latest generation iPhones will come in the same 4.7 and 5.5-inch versions as the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. They will also have the same finishing and exterior design. A ramp in manufacturing is to be expected next month.

The current iPhone design, especially the iPhone 6 Plus, has given Apple a sales boost in Asian countries like China. Though Apple had been faring well in sales, it had always been dominated by Samsung in the global arena as certain markets preferred bigger screens than what the older iPhone models offered. iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sales topped initial estimates by 3.1 million, with a 40% climb in unit sales in March.

Because of the new generation iPhone's huge similarity to its predecessors' design, production on the upcoming iPhones is expected to go smoothly--with delays to be expected only due to yield of displays.
