Television has seen a burst of TV shows surrounding superheroes with "Gotham", "The Flash", "Arrow" and others recently. Well, it seems fans of comic books and superheroes will soon add another superhero-centered TV show to the existing roster.

In January, at the Television Critics Association press tour, CW announced a spin-off series that would include recurring characters from "The Flash" and "Arrow", reports TVLine. These two shows featuring DC Comic superheroes are highly successful and making a spin-off only makes sense. The roster of superheroes in the new spin-off would include Brandon Routh who plays Ray Palmer and the A.T.O.M, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance and the first Canary, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart and Captain Cold as well as Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein and one-half of Firestorm.

Two aspects of the line-up are confusing: the first is that Sara Lance died in season three so her resurrection could confuse fans. Den Of Geek reports that the character was shot dead by arrows but a trip to the Lazarus pit could undo all of that, speculating that this may be where the storyline for her character's resurgence will be heading.

Another surprising character in the series is Dr. Martin Stein but not his other half Ronnie Raymond. Both Raymond and Stein fuse together to create the superhero Firestorm, so how will Firestorm be Firestorm with only one out of the two characters? Brandon Routh as Atom is no surprise as Ray Palmer finally finished his suit and donned it in the latest "Arrow" episode.

Wentworth Miller's inclusion as Leonard Snart and Captain Cold is also welcomed, although it is unclear whether he plays a villainous role as he did in "The Flash" or become reformed. The show is titled "All-Star Team Up" and executive producers of both shows, namely Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim are behind the fascinating new project. Perhaps the best news of the new series is that it will introduce three DC Comic characters never before seen on "Arrow" or "The Flash".
