'Arrow' season 3 spoilers: finale could be Arrow-Flash crossover; episode 18 will see team Arrow locate Ray's assailant

(CW)

"Arrow" fans have quite an interesting episode ahead and, if spoilers of upcoming episodes are to be believed, an exciting season finale.

In "Public Enemy", an attack takes place at the Mayor's office and Ray finds himself suiting up. Comic Book reports that the assailant gets away, but not before critically injuring Ray Palmer. Felicity rushes to the hospital and finds a surprise visitor. TVLine reports that Felicity's mother, Donna Smoak, is at the hospital to visit Ray Palmer. The bubbly, optimistic and pocket full of sunshine Donna shows up at the hospital to offer her support. Actress Charlotte Ross essays her role as a guest star.

Meanwhile, team Arrow step up to find the assailant but it may be more difficult than it seems as the full force of SCPD is out to look for him as well. Team Arrow must stay one step ahead of the police department in order to apprehend Ray's assailant. However, things take an unexpected turn when Ra's Al Ghul kidnaps Captain Lance.

While episode 18 sounds rather interesting, episode 19 "Broken Arrow" seems even more intriguing with the introduction of super-villain Deadbolt to Starling City. Additionally, Atom and Arrow will team up in episode 19 in order to take down Deadbolt, a meta-human who kills people by blasting energy and plasma. What makes this episode special is that deadbolt is also set to appear in an episode of "The Flash". Does this mean fans will see an Arrow-Flash crossover episode? The show has done crossover episodes before and they were definitely fan-favorites.

Meanwhile, upcoming episodes of "Arrow" will deal with the impact of Oliver refusing Ra's offer. According to David Ramsey's (who plays John Diggle) interview with TVLine, Ra's will get what he wants either way. When speaking about the League of Assassins' offer, Ramsey said "Ra's al Ghul is no joke. And he's going to get what he wants from Oliver one way or another. One way or another it's going to happen." Will Oliver become a villain and leader of the League of Assassins?

"Public Enemy" airs on Wednesday, April 1 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
