After taking Game 1 at the Philips Arena, the Cleveland Cavaliers will try to take a 2-0 series lead over the Atlanta Hawks when they play Game 2 in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

The match is on May 22, 2015 at 8:30 PM ET.

In Game 1, the Hawks seemed to have everything under control early on, as their ball movement and team basketball dictated the pace and confused the Cavaliers' defense.

The first quarter ended with Atlanta leading 26-20, thanks to their teamwork, but Cleveland eventually solved the riddle and the score was tied at the end of the first half.

From then, things started to roll towards the advantage of the visitors, as LeBron James began to heat up and get his teammates involved, while J.R. Smith started to heat up from beyond the arc.

For the Hawks, things went from bad to worse as DeMarre Carroll suffered a gruesome leg injury after a drive to the basket resulted in him bending his knee in the opposite direction.

As the main defender for James, the Hawks simply had no answer for the star.

He went on to dominate against the defenders, as the Cavs went on to win the game 97-89.

James finished with 31 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Smith had 28 points and shot 67% from beyond the arc, all while also grabbing eight rebounds.

Kyrie Irving played for only 28 minutes, but managed 10 points as he continued his rehabilitation from knee tendinitis.

Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 27 points, but only went 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. Al Horford was solid early in the game and finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.

Carroll, who was the Hawks' leading scorer heading into Game 1, finished with only five points and one rebound.
