The adorable Pokemons were recently turned into Titan-like monsters in a recent artwork, and the mash-up looks quite brilliantly disturbing.

The one responsible for the artwork is an artist named Beth Emery (codenamed zsparky).

Images of Bulbasaur, Lickitung and Mr. Mime are all posted in a social network for art enthusiasts, DeviantArt.

These fan-made creations are a testament of the excitement that looms around the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release.

Ecumenical News reported last week that fans might have to wait until 2015 for the second season of Attack on Titan.

Wit Studios Head Joji Wada hinted on spinoffs and sequels of this hit series.

"The manga comic the anime is based on is still ongoing, and all of us on the staff are following and loving it," the studio head gushed. "Eventually, we definitely want to do a sequel. This year, though, we've got our hands full producing an anime that will be bundled in a limited edition of the Attack on Titan manga, which tells a different sort of story than what we did in the TV series."

Attack on Titan is a semi-action and semi-drama series that tackles post-apocalyptic earth and indestructible humanoids are taking over.

These humanoids or titans are almost invulnerable to any weapon, and has the ability to self heal, which make them all the more dangerous.

The story's focus is with the life of Eren Yeager, his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman and childhood buddy Armin Alert.

For this particular series, Death Notes' director Tetsuro Araki orchestrates the scenes where humans are striking back at these monsters.

Meanwhile, Kotaku has mentioned of the possible addition of Levi Ackerman could stir up more excitement of the series.
