"Attack on Titan" will be making its way back to television in just a few months, and staff from Wit Studio are making sure fans do not stay out of the loop.

A recent Instagram post showed dozens of animation cuts for the hit anime. Unfortunately, all the "Attack on Titan" footages are still hidden in stacks of boxes. This leaves fans aching for more footage of the show's new season. However, this does confirm that the show is having good progress.

According to Comicbook.com, creating an anime takes a lot of procedures. Animators must sketch out animation cuts that put characters and scenes together before they are animated.

The Instagram post showed a couple of boxes containing animation cuts piled up. However, considering the amount of battles in the first season, there ought to be more hidden in the studio.

"Attack on Titan" is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth that is overrun by massive creatures known as Titans. These mindless beasts have been hunting humans for decades, and mankind is stuck fending for itself behind three massive walls.

However, when Titans attack their settlement, a young boy named Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the Survey Corps. This is a branch of the military that eradicates Titans.

Viewers of the anime see that Eren can consciously turn himself into a titan. This causes a slew of political problems inside the settlements, and poses a question: if Eren can turn himself into a Titan, who else can?

The second season of the anime will try to answer this question. However, it is revealed that long-held government conspiracies are already in play way back in the past.

In a sudden surprise, a line from the season 2 trailer courtesy of Funimation said, "Titans have been protecting us from other Titans this entire time!"

This suggests yet another dimension in the spiral of politics in the anime, which is Titan-to-Titan interaction.

The second season of the anime will follow the second half of the popular "Shingeki no Kyojin" manga, which served as its inspiration.

"Attack on Titan" will make its second season debut in April. The series will make its return to TV screens under the helm of Funimation, just after the company acquired rights to the production of the anime.
