Without question, "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is one of the most-anticipated movies ever. While the movie is about Marvel superheroes teaming up against the alien villain Thanos, it is also said that it will be introducing a new Captain America, who, in the past three "Captain America" and two "Avengers" movies, was portrayed by Chris Evans.

According to the latest reports, Steve Rogers (Evans) will no longer be Captain America in "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" as, reportedly, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) will be bestowed by the honor and responsibility to be the new Cap.

To recall, Bucky Barnes' humanity has finally been tapped in "Captain America: Civil War" —  thanks to Steve Rogers who moved heaven and earth to make it happen. While there are some who doubt whether Bucky Barnes will remain a good guy in "Avengers: Infinity War," many believe that he will be the reason why he is to be chosen as the new Captain America.

In the comic books, Bucky Barnes, indeed, succeeded Steve Rogers as the new Captain America after the latter was assassinated at the trial court. It turned out later on that he survived the attempt on his life.

However, if rumors are to be believed, it is unlikely for "Avengers: Infinity War" to fake-kill Steve Rogers just to have a new Captain America; rather, Steve Rogers will just assume a position to primarily oversee the activities of Avengers. It is even said that he will help Bucky Barnes adjust to the modern times as the latter had been in deep sleep for almost a century.

Meanwhile, apart from being possibly replaced as Captain America in "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1," rumors also claim that Steve Roger's relationship with Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will be beyond repair after the events in "Captain America: Civil War." As to how they will deal with each other as they join forces against Thanos in the upcoming movie, no one outside the production knows for now.
