With Marvel's "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" just days from its release, what does the future hold for the next set of superheroes? While "Avengers: Infinity War" parts one and two are still in the early stages of production, there are an influx of spoilers and news to keep comic book fans on their toes.

Venture Capital Post reports that Thanos will be the main antagonist of the movie. He had a minor role in "Guardians Of Galaxy". Thanos will terrorize the universe and the Avengers must do everything in their power to stop him from killing everyone in his path.

The mammoth villain will be in search of the six infinity stones, whose powers will make him invincible. It will take every ounce of superhero energy to stop this antagonist from wreaking havoc. Thanos wants the gauntlet containing the stones in order to absorb it and acquire the power of the galaxies. It might take more than the Avengers to stop this man since The Guardians of the Galaxy team will join the war to stop Thanos.

However, Cinema Blend reports that Thanos may not be the only villain in the two movies. Director for both Avengers movie, Joss Whedon, dropped hints that he may be accompanied by other super-villains. While it is unclear who will be joining the mighty Thanos, the report speculates that it may be an old Avengers foe who died in the franchise's previous installments or one of Thanos' underlings. This could be either Blood Brothers or Black Dwarf or even Ebony Maw.

Interestingly, many had speculated that Thor would not be part of the third and fourth Avengers movie since a new crop of superheroes such as Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Ant-Man take the helm. That may not be so, since actor Chris Hemsworth revealed to Collider that he's got three movies left in his contract. These include Avengers 3 and 4 as well as "Thor 3".

"Avengers: Infinity War Part I" releases on May 4, 2018 while "Avengers: Infinity War Part II" releases on May 3, 2019.
