'Avengers: Infinity War' plot spoilers: Captain Marvel may not appear; Thanos may be killed off?

(Avengers / Facebook)"Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is expected to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.

"Room" actress Brie Larson was recently announced as the Captain Marvel for the upcoming movie of the same name. Because of her recent casting, a lot of rumors are circulating that her character might skip the other much-awaited Marvel movie, "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1."

According to reports, it is possible that Larson's Carole Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, may not appear in the first part of the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War." Marvel confirmed at the recent Comic-Con International that the "Captain Marvel" solo movie is expected to release on March 8, 2019; that's a year after the first part of "Infinity War." So, it makes sense that Captain Marvel will not be introduced in part 1 so she can properly get her own spotlight in her titular movie.

Meanwhile, actor Josh Brolin, who plays the big baddie Thanos, shared about the directors of two "Infinity Wars" during his promotion for Coen brothers' "Hail Ceasar." He shared on Yahoo the common ground between the Coen brothers and the directing duo of the upcoming Marvel title, the Russo brothers, are their talent to tell stores masterfully.

As for the progress of the "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1," Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed at the Comic-Con that the upcoming title is something they have never done before.

Fiege added, "And it's indicative of where we're going — which was not spoken off during today's presentation — which is 'Infinity War.' Joe and Anthony and Stephen and Christopher are hard at work on that and we start shooting at the end of the year. It will really be the capstone to all of this material we have been working on since 2006."

Meanwhile, there are already character death predictions. Thanos' death is expected in the first "Infinity War," while his former friend Drax the Destroyer could also be killed off as a sacrifice in order to save the many.

"Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is expected to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
