Batman: Arkham Knight release date is in January, 2015, Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy said in an ambush interview.

VG24/7 reported Microsoft Store claiming the coming action video game would be delivered February 24, 2015, but developer Rocksteady Studios announced it will be pushed to 2015. Microsoft since edited the release date as "Not announced."

Conroy said the Dark Knight adventure game is supposed to be out in January, and have already been in development for a year and a half but not completed yet.

Dax Ginn, brand marketing producer at Rocksteady, confirmed the pushing back of the game's release date. Batman: Arkham Knight being totally awesome takes time, as has always been the case for awesome games, Ginn said.

The collaboration between Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, DC Comics and Rocksteady Studios, has extended the time it takes to develop the game.

The reason is simply to ensure the delivery of a Batman game that is of awesome quality, and to be what Batman gamers and fans expect the epic conclusion, and final episode of the Arkham trilogy to be.

Most recently, a new DLC for the PS4, the Batman Arkham Knight Scarecrow Nightmare Pack, has been unveiled. According to Sony Computer Entertainment, the DLC features the Gotham hero fighting a huge and towering villain Scarecrow.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the third game in the trilogy, and will have returning villains such as Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler, Harley Quinn and original character Arkham Knight.

It is confirmed Batman will have the voice of Kevin Conroy, while Troy Baker gave a strong hint his voice will once again heard through Two-Face.

Bottom line: both the January or February 2015 release date should be taken with a grain of salt until Warner Bros decides to make an official announcement.
