Social media can uncover so much these days. And "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director, Zack Snyder, posted something on Instagram that may reveal something extremely huge about his upcoming 2016 superhero movie.

Just recently, rumors of Snyder's son, Eli, stepping into the shoes of Batman's sidekick, Robin, surfaced on the Internet. The whole production team of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been hush-hush on some details of the movie including casting, which is why news about Eli playing Robin has been nothing but a rumor.

And Snyder himself added flame to the rumor when he took to Instagram yesterday to post a photo of himself and Eli in a suit. His son may not have been wearing a Robin suit but Snyder's caption had others thinking it is a subtle confirmation. He wrote, "Boy wonder?"

Snyder's Instagram is set to private and only approved followers can see the photo. However, set photographer, Clay Enos, reposted the same photo and caption for the public to see. Fans were immediately in a frenzy and voiced out they approval of the casting choice.

At the moment, there is still no confirmation as to whether or not Eli has actually been cast as Robin. Snyder's post may just be a teaser to test the waters or just to give fans something to think about.

Word on the grapevine is that Robin's appearance in the "Batman v Superman" movie will be in a flashback scene, which involves Jared Leto's Joker, who will later be appearing in the DC movie, "Suicide Squad." DC fanboys have been speculating on the movie and talking about the storyline where Joker kills Robin.

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on March 25, 2016. It sets into motion all DC Cinematic Universe superhero movies.

Aside from Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill), the movie will also introduce other Justice League members, Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).
