More and more details are being leaked about the plot and cast of the eagerly-awaited DC movie 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,' and the latest spoilers hint of a female Robin.

According to an insider working as an extra for the movie, a female Robin is set to appear in the movie. The scoop was published by East Lansing at Michigan's Channel 10 WILX, where the extra, who wishes to remains anonymous, chose to share the valuable information.

According to the Channel 10 report, the female Robin part was added fairly late in the script after major revisions and rewrites.

The report coincides with Hollywood Reporter's article that Jena Malone is the latest addition to the Batman V Superman cast, though her role has not been specified.

The rumor mill is bursting with speculations that Malone will in fact play the female Robin, especially with how the actress has dyed her hair bright red.

Malone has been recently spotted 'visiting' the set of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and is said to have been casted as Carrie Kelley, the female Robin who appeared in Frank Miller's 'Dark Knight Returns.'

Initial Batman V Superman reports said that Nightwing was to be included in the upcoming movie, with Adam Driver slated to play the role. Since Driver chose to do Star Wars, it is possible that a female Robin was written for the script to replace Nightwing.
