"Battlefield 4," the popular first-person shooter (FPS) game developed by DICE, is going all out this week by releasing the highly anticipated "Night Operations" DLC, "Naval Strike" expansion for Xbox One and the "Summer Patch update."

According to the report by PC Gamer, Electronic Arts finally revealed the release date of the upcoming DLC for "Battlefield 4" called "Night Operations." This content will focus heavily on the stealth aspect of the game, as well as challenge the tactical thinking of the players. It will also come with a brand new map called Zavod: Graveyard Shift.

"We touched things like passive/active spotting to make it easier to flank your opponent. We've improved the sound system so you can pinpoint where those footsteps come from," EA wrote last month via PC Gamer. "Additionally, we've also given the gadgets and tools of the night an improvement pass to make them shine in the dark (but less so during the day)."

PC Gamer also reported that the "Summer Patch" is expected to rollout alongside the "Night Operations" DLC, both of which are scheduled to be released today, Sept. 1, 2015.

However, these are not the only news to be excited about for "Battlefield 4." GameSpot reported that the "Naval Strike" expansion is also set for release this week and it is going to be free for all Xbox One users with EA Access. Unfortunately, nothing much has been said for the other platforms like PlayStation 4 and on the PC.

This expansion, as explained on GameSpot, will forever be in the user's library whether it still has an active subscription or not. Aside from that, players who have access will also have a 10 percent discount on all EA digital content for the Xbox One console.

"Naval Strike" is going to be available for free until Sept. 3 only, as mentioned by EA in their official post last week.
