After it was heavily speculated in the past that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have let bygones be bygones and have given their marriage another try, the latest in the rumor mill is that Affleck has rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez.

There is no denying that Affleck and Garner's relationship is one of the most followed in Hollywood and elsewhere in the world. Although the two announced their separation in summer last year, they still manage to co-habit the same abode, in order to give their children normal parenting. After it was reported several times earlier this year that the two have been lovey-dovey in their out-of-the country vacations, many have expressed hope that the two have finally given their marriage a second try.

However, the latest in the rumor mill is that Affleck has indeed, reconciled with Jennifer, not Garner, though, but another Jennifer from his past, Lopez. To recall, the two were already engaged to be married in 2004, but eventually called it off for still unclear reasons. Despite the separation, though, in an interview earlier this year, Lopez said that she was certain there was true love between him and Affleck during the course of their relationship.

"I think different time, different thing, who knows what could've happened, but there was a genuine love there," Lopez said as she recalled her past with Affleck.

"I would do it all over again, I think. I really would. Even the relationship part. I just feel like everything is part of your story and your journey and is meant to be and helps you grow if you're willing to look at it, and I'm willing to look," she added.

With the rumors about her and Affleck reuniting, was Lopez being prophetic of the things to come between her and Affleck in that interview? Who knows. 

Meanwhile, it is said that Garner has gone furious after it was reported that Affleck and Lopez were spotted together and partying during the actor's birthday this year. To make things worse, even if Garner is no longer happy with Affleck, they cannot file for divorce as, allegedly, Affleck's mother does not approve of the idea of the two to legally end their marriage.

Are Affleck and Lopez really back in each other's arms?

Affleck and Garner's fans can only hope that they have not.
