"Better Call Saul" ended with a shocking, and much awaited, season one finale episode that saw Jimmy reject the world of Hamlin & Hamlin lawyers. He declined the world of sleekly dressed lawyers trying to do the right thing in an attempt to be as great as his brother, Chuck. When he learnt of Chuck's betrayal, it shattered him and set him on the path to becoming the nefarious Saul Goodman.

As season one ended a week ago, fans are now wondering what the future holds for their favorite neurotic lawyer. While it's still too early to tell, it seems Peter Gould and his team of brilliant writers are now charting the course for Jimmy in season two. In an interview with Vancouver Sun, close to the heels of season one's end, Gould signed off by saying, "As soon as I'm off the phone with you, Vince and I and a bunch of really brilliant writers are going to go back to beating our heads against the wall."

The writers of critically acclaimed and extremely popular "Breaking Bad" are also part of the "Better Call Saul" team. The production team has been extremely tight-lipped in what viewers can expect in season two, but actor Bob Odenkirk, who essays the role of lead actor Jimmy McGill, dropped a hint. In an interview with TVinsider, Bob said Jimmy's future isn't all bleak. He explained, "I don't know what's going to happen, but based on the very brief and very general conversations I've had with Vince and Peter, I think Jimmy's got some ups coming his way and some good times, which could be fun to watch."

While there isn't a set premiere date for season two, production is slated to begin at the latter half of 2015. The widely rumored release date is early 2016.
