'Better Call Saul' season 3 news, rumors: anticipation for Gus Fring's appearance gets more intense

(FACEBOOK/Breaking Bad)"Breaking Bad" character Gus Fring is rumored to appear in "Better Call Saul" season three

Gus Fring is undeniably one of the most iconic names in television history, and though fans may have already seen the last of him in "Breaking Bad," there are new reports suggesting that the character will be back for "Better Call Saul" season three.

Fring, who was played by Giancarlo Esposito in "Breaking Bad," is a beloved character who, despite his villainy, has captured the hearts of viewers due to his story and ability to turn even the most unlikely situations around. Though his appearance in the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul" is never impossible, there are some reports suggesting that it may not happen very soon.

First of all, Fring is one of the more mysterious kingpins who have ever stepped into the small screens. He will definitely not appear just about anywhere. In "Breaking Bad," he was depicted as someone who will appear in the most unexpected locations and situations. Will he finally enter Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) life this time?

Fans are expecting to see the transformation of Jimmy into Saul Goodman in "Better Call Saul" season three even if there is no confirmation about this storyline yet. However, Chuck's (Michael McKean) betrayal is believed to be the turning point in Jimmy's life which will lead him to the dark side of the law.

Saul and Fring are allies in "Breaking Bad," and since "Better Call Saul" is the prequel spin-off to the former, Fring will most likely appear in the future though it might not happen sooner than expected. This is because fans will have to give Jimmy all the time he needs for the transformation to be perfect and flawless.

While viewers are talking in forums, social media pages and other channels about Fring's alleged "Better Call Saul" season three appearance, the series has not yet confirmed anything, so it is better to wait for official announcements before getting any hopes up.

"Better Call Saul" season three is expected to premiere sometime 2017 on AMC.
