Beyonce has proven herself to be an all-around performer and a timeless musician throughout the years, and she adds one more creative skill to her resume by being a poet. The singer wrote a poem inspired by her daughter, Blue Ivy, and called the 2-year-old her "biggest muse."

The entertainment industry is still not over Beyonce's extravagant 16-minute performance at the recently-held MTV Video Music Awards, where she took home the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Beyonce, who's married to rapper Jay Z has a 2-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy and made her the subject and muse for a poem she wrote for CR Fashion Book.

"It's my daughter, she's my biggest muse/There's someone, we all find out soon/more important than ourselves to lose/ But for my daughter I dream a day/When no one roots for others to fail/When we all mean what we say," wrote the multi award-winning hit maker in the poem she titled "Bey The Light."

The singer also talked about her stage persona, 'Sasha Fierce,' in the same poem.

"Though we're different as blue and red, I'm not afraid to draw from her in performance, rifts, even in bed," wrote Beyonce, as reported by ABC News.

Blue Ivy also made an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards, carried by Jay Z on stage, and murmured the words "yay mommy!" when it was time for Beyonce to receive her award.

Beyonce and Jay Z are currently finishing their joint tour together called 'On The Run,' and smashed divorce rumors when the couple shared a kiss onstage at the MTV event.
