Blue Bloods season 4 preview: Linda gets mugged, takes desperate measures

In the latest episode of Blue Bloods season 5, Frank fell victim to his own ego, Danny was tricked, and Erin showed a stronger side.

A lot of things happened during the 9th episode of Blue Blood's season 9, and it was Linda's courage against her attacker that got the viewers' attention. A robber tried to mug Linda and asked for her wedding ring and put a knife to her throat.

In any real situation, the victim would instantly give up what the attacker would ask, but Linda showed that the wedding ring was worth fighting for. When it was time for Linda to make her statement, it seems that Danny was not informed even if he was a detective and even if Linda was the commissioner's daughter-in-law.

It turns out that Danny was not informed of a lot of things in this episode. Not only did he fail to find out that Linda has been mugged, but he was blindsided when he found out that his wife actually worked in a mobile clinic in such a dangerous neighborhood where she was mugged.

Linda knew that she wouldn't be able to pursue this kind of work if Danny knew, but her judgment got the best of her. Because of this, Danny told Linda that she couldn't work in a dangerous place during a dangerous hour, and Danny was obviously not proud of that moment.

Still, Linda had a chance to use her advantages to her favor. She used the police commissioner's card to get a gun quickly. Unfortunately for Linda, she was spotted by Jamie buying a gun and mentioned it to Erin and Frank. Linda pleaded and asked Jaime to keep quiet around Danny.

Frank respected Linda's discretion, and said that she wasn't doing anything illegally inside the gun store, so everything she does is her own business.
