Booth and Brennan are about the face a crucial issue: Booth's gambling addiction when the series airs this week. With Brennan pregnant and Booth risking a relapse, can the pair work their issues out or will they be headed their separate ways?

In episode 15 titled "The Eye In The Sky", the Jeffersonian team will tackle the murder of a high-stakes gambler, as per TVGuide's episode description. The gambler's remains are found in an industrial shedder. Booth and Brennan must delve deep into the world of underground poker. However, this risks Booth relapsing from his gambling addiction and it is speculated that he will lie about his relapse. Hollywood Hills reports that Brennan reveals that she is pregnant for a second time in the upcoming episode. With Booth's gambling problem resurfacing and Brennan's pregnancy, can the two hold it together?

The synopsis also teases that Hodgins will invent a lab-related product. Additionally, the career criminal and his scientist wife are about to receive some exciting family news.

Executive producer Stephen Nathan told TVGuide in a separate article that fans will not see Brennan's delivery in season 10. He said, "(Booth and Brennan's) baby won't be born this season. We figured we've been down that road, and I don't think we could have a better birth than we had for Christine." The producer also stated that Booth will lie about his gambling relapse and that the husband-wife duo needs to deal with the repercussions of his addiction while tracking a serial killer. This killer will be similar to Pelant and the series may not end in a cliff-hanger since its renewal is still doubtful. Nevertheless, fans should brace themselves for a less than happy ending. Does this mean the romantic pair call it quits?
