Angela (Michaela Conlin) will rely on her two closest girl friends as she deals with her marital problems with Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) in the second half of "Bones" season 11.

Getting along with a depressed and testy husband will be Angela's job when the long-running FOX series returns in April. Hodgins became paralyzed from the waist down after the huge explosion during the midseason finale. The prognosis is not good and it looks like he will be spending a long time confined to a wheel chair for the rest of the season. As her husband deals with the difficulty of accepting the truth, Angela will find her patience tested, especially when he starts pushing her away.

Angela and Hodgins have been planning on having kids prior to the accident. With his current condition, Hodgins feels inadequate, as he will not be able to give his wife something that she really wants. Self-pity will set in, making him short tempered with her. Angela will be getting a lot of help from Brennan (Emily Deschanel), the other married woman in the team. Cam (Tamara Taylor) will also be there for her, but Angela's connection with Sebastian (Gil Darnell) may get in between them.

Cam is dating the photographer before the series went on a hiatus. According to spoilers, Angela will find herself seeking comfort from another man because of Hodgins' attitude toward her. That person will be Sebastian, which may mean a stiff relationship with Cam. It was Angela who introduced the two in the past. Michael Peterson hinted to TV Guide that Sebastian would be a huge torn between Angela and Hodgins, and perhaps, to Cam as well.

"Angela's going to need a shoulder to lean on. We'll play with some tensions that perhaps she's relying on Sebastian a bit too much. For her, Sebastian is this alternative life. She has this wonderful life with Hodgins and she's very happy, but there is this alternative life of adventure and being an artist and traveling all over the world, and he represents that," he said.

Meanwhile, the series has recently been renewed from season 12. Creator Hart Hanson expressed his gratitude to FOX, as well as to the whole staff and crew for doing a great job through the years. Season 12 will be the last for "Bones" and it will run for 12 episodes.

"Bones" season 11 will return on Thursday, April 14, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
