Britney Spears has been dating David Lucado for quite some time, and just recently, the singer announced their split via her Twitter account.

On August 28, Spears wrote "Ahhh the single life!" on her Twitter account, gaining more than 16,000 'retweets' by fans and followers.

During her performance at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the pop diva spoke to her audience in-between song performances and raised the subject of her personal life.

"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me. But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates," said Spears, as reported by Daily Mail.

Being the fearless woman that she is, Spears continued to talk to the crowd, asking where the "hot guys are."

"OMG, OMG, I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight," screamed Spears, who then pulled celebrity blogger Perez Hilton up onstage.

Hilton was then put on a leash and performed with Spears and later expressed his excitement on his Twitter account.

It was reported by TMZ that Jamie Spears, the singer's father and manager, obtained a video showing Lucado kissing and cuddling with an unknown woman and paid a huge amount to prevent the scandal from going public.

"David won't be getting through because he's persona non grata at her show in Las Vegas, at her home in Thousand Oaks, California and his phone number's been blocked," a source told Daily Mail.
