Activision's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare revolutionizes multiplayer gaming experience with drone patrols and bionic soldiers.

"With Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare we introduced the first new lead developer to the franchise in a decade and our first three-year development cycle, with one mission: bring breakthrough innovation to the franchise, while also honoring its roots. We feel Sledgehammer Games has risen to that challenge," said Activision Publishing, Inc., CEO, Eric Hirshberg.

"Advanced Warfare introduces significant new mechanics to multiplayer that truly change the game, but more importantly just speaking as a gamer it's a hell of a lot of fun," he added.

The bloody and violent shoot out scenes take place 45 years in the future.

"When we set out to envision the 2054 world of Call of Duty, we spent a lot of time focused on evolving the multiplayer – offering all new experiences to the fans," said Glen Schofield, co-founder and game director of Sledgehammer Games.

Call of Duty has been Activision's cash cow since 2003.

Another co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, Michael Condrey revealed that in order for them to make the scenarios more realistic and inject palpable adventures, they sought help of a Pentagon adviser.

"We brought in a lot of outside help – military advisers, futurologists - we got together with a scenario planner from the department of defense, who is active in the Pentagon," Condrey said.

Oscar winning Hurt Locker writer and Kill Bin Laden author also gave advise for this upcoming shooter title.

Call of Duty has gained solid following not only among gaming enthusiasts, but also in military organizations and the entertainment industry.

This is why it is not surprising that they were able to snatch some professional advice from such authorities.

The game may be pro-ordered on the official website or at select retailers.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming to PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 3, 2014.
