'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' DLC 2 out now for Xbox One and PC

(Treyarch / Activision)'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Eclipse DLC is now available on Xbox One and PC gaming platforms.

Good news to all "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" fans. The second expansion pack of the game, titled "Eclipse," can now be purchased for Xbox One and PC gaming platforms. The newest DLC features four new multiplayer maps, plus a new chapter in the Zombies storyline.

The expansion pack can be secured by gamers with "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Season Pass. For those who don't have one, they can purchase the game separately for $15.

The four maps included in the DLC are Knockout, which features a "Shaolin temple" with a flare of retro; Rift, which is described as a "harsh futuristic military complex;" Spire, which looks like a futuristic airport terminal located in the clouds; and Verge, the revamped version of Banzai map from the classic "Call of Duty: World at War."

Zetsubou No Shima, the new addition to the Zombies storyline, is set on an isolated island in the Pacific. It has a secret lab called Division 9 facility wherein numerous weird and violent experiments are being conducted. This new content will also bring players to continue the mission of putting an end to the zombie apocalypse.

Zetsubou No Shima will also introduce a map full of new terrifying zombie enemies, a variety of innovative transport mechanics, more devastating traps, and classic Zombies side quests.

The Eclipse expansion pack was first released for PlayStation 4 consoles last April 19. Although it has now been made available for PC and Xbox One, there is still no official announcement on the Xbox 360 release.

Video game developer Treyarch and game publisher Activision have previously announced that the game will release two more expansion packs after Eclipse. However, they have not stated when it will come out.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" first DLC, called "Awakening," was released last February and it is available for all the mainstream gaming consoles including the Xbox 360.
