'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Revelation DLC: Heroes finally meet Dr. Monty in final chapter

(Twitter/CallofDuty)The previous DLC is titled Descent.

The final DLC of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is called Salvation. The DLC contains Revelations, which is the last chapter in the Origins Zombies saga.

Fans are undoubtedly looking forward to the release of the last DLC from Treyarch. It remains to be seen whether it will live up to expectations, but a recently released trailer is only proving to stir up more excitement from fans.

The trailer starts off with a close-up shot of Dr. Monty. "This is it," he slowly warns as he directly faces the camera. It then blacks out and Dr. Monty is seen standing in the middle against a pitch black background. "The aether. The infinite. The reality beyond," he snarls as he goes farther away.

"Beyond the world you know, beyond your perception. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. You changed the rules. There are certain things that you can't ever change. All I ask is that you do the right thing — the right thing for everyone," he continues.

But what will Revelations bring to the table?

According to Treyarch, Revelations will see the return of Origins characters after their travel through space and time. Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai will at long last encounter Dr. Monty. However, their mission will be no easy task as they need to take down more zombies in the final chapter.

The Salvation DLC will include four multiplayer maps. The Citadel is an ancient, abandoned castle that was once the shelter of a skilled medieval army. In addition to close quarters, the map will also see a moat and a drawbridge.

Up next is a mini battlefield, aptly named Micro. The small area is set up on top of a picnic table. Outlaw, on the other hand, is a different take on the Standoff map from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." It is inspired by the wild west.

Finally, Rupture is described as a "high-tech facility" and a re-imagining of the Outskirts map from "Call of Duty: World at War."

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC Pack 4 will be available on Sept. 6 on the PlayStation 4.
