'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' DLC release date: Expansion pack coming later this month or early July

(Facebook/Call of Duty)Although "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is imminent, it won't be playable until two more "Black Ops III" DLC packs become available.

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" downloadable content (DLC) may come out later this month or early July for the PlayStation 4 and will find its way to the PC and Xbox One another month later.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, a teaser video for an upcoming DLC is usually released prior to the release date, but as of this writing, "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" is yet to release one, although there are only a few remaining days before this month ends. With this, it is now presumed that the said DLC is coming out in July. This should not really be surprising, according to the same source, as it recalls that the current DLC map of "Call of Duty" was announced on March 31 this year but did not become available until April 19.

The gaming/technology-related online publication also said that although "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is imminent, it won't be playable until two more "Black Ops 3" DLC packs become available. It also reports that in the event that gamers already have the "Awakening Black Ops 3" DLC, it is possible for them to upgrade it to the forthcoming "Black Ops III" Season Pass.

Recently, a 1.11 update to the game was made available, which brought several changes to the game. However, according to reports, the most notable change that the update delivered was the opportunity for a gamer to play the character Black Jack. Before a player can take the role of the notorious black market leader, though, there are some tasks in the game that he needs to complete before he can do so.

Now, fans can only wonder what change the latest "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" DLC can offer to the gamers. Meanwhile, as long as there is no official confirmation on what the DLC will offer and when it will be released, fans can only keep on speculating as they are left in limbo.
