A new update was released just recently for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and it carries plenty of fixes.

Among the fixes it brings are those specifically meant to address issues players may have encountered previously with regards to the game's win-loss system.

Developers posted the latest update notes over on the r/InfiniteWarfare Subreddit, and according to them, players will now be given the correct win or loss if the match is concluded prior to the forfeit timer expiring.

Another important fix included in the update will make sure that a win streak is not snapped if the player loses a match that was entered into while it was already ongoing.

The winner's circle has also been fixed and bugs that have affected it before have been eliminated.

Many of the game's maps have also been fixed by the latest "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" update.

Exploits that previously existed on the maps Crusher, Genesis, Grounded, Frontier, Frost, Mayday, Precinct, Retaliation, Scorch, Skydock, Terminal and Throwback have been observed and now fixed.

One more map-related fix ensures that the game will not crash after a map restarts.

More changes to the recently added Infected mode have also been applied via the update.

New adjustments to the way experience points are handed out in Infected mode will lead to Survivors earning more of them when notching kills. All currently Infected players will also receive an assist whenever a Survivor goes down. The Infected players have also been nerfed slightly as they will be moving a bit slower than before.

Developers have also teased that additional weapons will be introduced to Infected mode, so that should help diversify gameplay even further. No specific arrival date for those new Infected mode weapons has been announced thus far.

More news about "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" should be made available in the near future.
