Acclaimed actor, Daniel Bruhl, is reportedly joining the cast of 'Captain America 3: Civil War' as one of the villains. Variety reports that though Bruhl will not be on the good side of the game, he will still spread enough menace to keep the favored superheroes on their toes.

Sources reveal that Bruhl will not be the main villain for Civil War, but could possibly be the main nemesis of Doctor Strange in the upcoming movie.

Nevertheless, the people behind the production of the movie are excited to have Bruhl on board. Bruhl famously portrayed legendary driver Niki Lauda in the Ron Howard-directed movie 'Rush.'

"With Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes," said Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige in a statement, MTV reports.

Feige added that hat a big story line awaits the anticipated viewers of Civil War, a story line that will overlap in several other Marvel movies.

"This is the Civil War of the cinematic universe, inspired by comicbook universe, but the Civil War that's based on all of the other films, particularly ('Captain America: The Winter Soldier') and ('The Avengers: Age of Ultron')," said Feige.

Captain America: Civil war will see the return of Chris Evans playing the titular role, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, and a pivotal and important appearance of Robert Downey Jr. in his famous role as Iron Man.
