A handful of celebrities have fallen victim to a massive nude photo leak that exposed their private images to thousands of Internet users through a hack in the iCloud system.

So far, none of the celebrities involved have released official statements about the nude photos, but Hollywood lawyer, Marty Singer, is pushing legal action against Google for failing to resolve the said issue.

In an open letter published by the Hollywood Reporter dated Wednesday, Singer warned the online behemoth that the celebrities he represents could seek up to $100 million in damages.

"We are writing concerning Google's despicable, reprehensible conduct in not only failing to act expeditiously and responsibly to remove the images, but in knowingly accommodating, facilitating and perpetuating the unlawful conduct," Singer wrote in the letter.

Singer added that Google is making millions of dollars by continuing to expose the celebrities without doing something to prevent the spread.

"Google is making millions and profiting from the victimization of women," the lawyer added.

The first wave of nude photos appeared shortly after Labor Day weekend, with a second and third wave that included new names.

Celebrities whose photos have unfortunately surfaced in the nude photo leaks, include: Jennifer Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Rihanna, Kaley Cuoco, Lea Michele, Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst, athlete Hope Solo, Arianna Grande, Kim Kardashian, Jill Scott, and others.

Google has not yet released any official statement regarding Singer's letter.
