Emerging technology products that transcend every major industry were showcased at the recently concluded 2017 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Innovative and trendsetting products in various fields like 5G, sports, health care, travel, and robotics were introduced.

Among the top products were Kingston's DataTraveler Ultimate GT flashdrive, which was touted as "the world's highest-capacity USB flash drive;" the PowerVision PowerRay Fishfinder, an underwater drone that can dive up to 100 feet underwater and stream 4K video back to a mobile device or VR headset; and a new model of Dell's XPS 13 laptop, which the company claims to be a lighter and thinner 2-in-1 version of the 2016 model.

Consumer electronics firm TCL also introduced its first Blackberry prototype phone model called Mercury, which uses the latest Android Nougat operating system. The Lenovo Smart Assistant tubular smart speaker, which is integrated with Amazon's Alexa voice service, is expected to provide tough competition to the Google Home and Amazon Echo devices.
