Cher praises Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett's 'Cheek to Cheek,' exchange pleasantries on twitter

Lady Gaga is a woman of many controversies, and the singer kept her wild side at bay when seasoned performer and actress, Cher, showed her appreciation for the pop singer's new collaborative album with Tony Bennett called 'Cheek to Cheek.'

Cheek to Cheek features standard songs as reimagined by Gaga and the multi-award winning Bennett.

"Hey give a listen 2 #CheektoCheek ITS REALLY AN EXCEPTIONAL PIECE OF WORK! Its Beyond Unique.Listen With open Mind,Ears & [heart] U Wont B Sorry," Cher wrote on her Twitter account.

Lady Gaga made sure that Cher's words weren't left unnoticed and replied.

"@cher wow, you're really a special person. I'm blown away by your support. You are one to truly look up to. A Star From the Inside Out" Lady Gaga tweeted in her response to Cher's post, as reported by BWW.

Cher is not the only one who has high praises for Lady Gaga's new album. Pop princess, Britney Spears also endorsed the album, calling Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett a "musical match."

"@ladygaga 'Cheek To Cheek' is a jazzy delight!! You & @itstonybennett are a musical match!" Spears wrote on Twitter.

Lady Gaga responded with equal admiration, congratulating Spears with the launch of her lingerie line.

"@britneyspears thank you darling, Tony & I appreciate it, you've always been such a sweetheart, Congratulations on The Intimate Line! Sexy!" Lady Gaga responded.
