(Facebook/NBCChicagoFire)Casey is in big trouble in the next episode of "Chicago Fire."

Dawson (Monica Raymund) will not want to see Casey (Jesse Spencer) in such an uncompromising situation in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire."

In the episode titled "Nobody Else Is Dying Today," the synopsis (as per CarterMatt) reveals that Casey will be in big trouble while performing one of his Alderman duties. While checking a warehouse, a terrible accident will happen involving a forklift accidentally puncturing a tank of toxic acid. The lieutenant, as well as a father and daughter tandem, is unfortunately trapped inside. They have to get out before they succumb to the toxic fumes. The acid is slowly inching its way to the room they are in. The whole place is doomed, as the acid destroys everything it touches.

As per the promo, Casey and the girl are close to passing out. Knowing he has no other option, he heaves a fire extinguisher at the wall, praying with all his might that it will create a hole big enough to accommodate them. Casey's companion looks ready to give in, but the lieutenant urges her to have faith. At the end though, even he appears to have accepted his fate. Will this be the end of Casey? What about Dawson and their kid Louie?

Last episode, Dawson was so distraught, worrying that she would lose Louie. She got a call from the Department of Children & Family Services, questioning why the process of adopting the boy had been too easy and fast for her. The representative said they might have to take him away. Susan (guest star Lauren Stamile) then came into the picture, promising both Casey and Dawson that she's already handled the situation. It turned out she was the one who instigated the whole thing. She wanted Casey to think that she was his savior. In her mind, he would return the favor by letting her help him run for the Senate.

"Chicago Fire" season 5 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
