CM Punk has had his way for a long time, especially when it involves talking ill about the WWE. Recently, the wrestler said sour things about the WWE during the AP Music Awards, and this could cause him a lawsuit.

During the AP Music awards, wrestler CM Punk said some trash about WWE while he was being interviewed in the red carpet. The wrestler expressed his opinions when asked if he has any plans to come back to wrestling, since his contract with WWE just expired.

"No. No. No. Never ever. Never ever ever. They're going to go crazy about that on Twitter. They're going to hold me to it, and yeah, whatever," said the wrestler in the red carpet, as reported by Bleacher Report.

CM Punk left WWE after his Royal Rumble 2014 match, and though he was just included on WWE's alumni page, it seemed to have added fuel to the fire.

CM Punk has always been vocal about his distaste in WWE, though this recent issue can cause a lawsuit of breach of contract, at least according to seasoned wrestling reporter, Dave Melzer.

Melzer spoke with Wrestling Observer, a radio show, and discussed what could happen to the wrestler if he keeps on saying bad things about WWE.

"Right now there are definitely issues with WWE and CM Punk. WWE is not happy with the way this all went down. Nothing's happened yet, but this is not, you know, you haven't heard anything and that would make you think his contract expired a couple of days ago and you think, well, this is a nice smooth ending. From WWE's standpoint, they haven't made a move yet, but there's certainly the threat that it's happening and this may not be smooth," said Melzer, referring to a lawsuit as 'the threat,' as reported by Cage Side Seats.
