'Criminal Minds' season 11 news: The BAU had an unexpected unsub in episode 3; team heads to Las Vegas to solve the murder of three young employees in episode 4, 'Outlaw'

"Criminal Minds" fans were treated to another fine show in this season's third episode. Directed by the show's very own Joe Mantegna, the episode featured a delusional young woman killing brides. After that surprise shocker, the team is headed to Las Vegas to investigate the bizarre killing of three employees for episode four.

Joe Mantegna, who plays the veteran FBI profiler David Rossi, sat in the director's chair for episode three, "'Til Death Do Us Part." The episode found the BAU investigating the murder of several women who were killed on the night before their wedding day. The team had a difficult time nailing down the profile of a man who was killing brides-to-be.

But as it turns out, the unsub (unknown subject) was in fact a mentally ill woman who was suffering from delusions. Played convincingly by "Glee's" Ashley Fink, Dana Seavers is a florist who believed that photographer Ryan Becker (David Paetkau) was in love with her. But in reality, he was interested in her sister. Seavers imagined that Becker was telling her to kill these women and ever faithful, she did as she was told.

The episode was entertaining, even though several things were left unexplained (like the unsub biting the nails of her victims.) But these were summarily pushed aside by the fans' enjoyment of the dynamics of the team and its new member, Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler). There's obviously good chemistry there and fans are hoping that she remains with the team longer.

However, Dr. Lewis might take on more than she could handle in the fourth episode of "Criminal Minds" season 11. A synopsis for the episode, titled "Outlaw," explained how the BAU is sent to investigate a robbery/ homicide that happened at a restaurant in Las Vegas. The incident prompts the team to re-open a murder that happened in that town six years ago which they believed is connected to the latest killing.

A trailer for the episode starts on a chilling note, with a teenager being dragged followed by a shot of another teenager watching on while she's bound and gagged. It appears that this has happened before and Dr. Lewis noted that all the victims were teenagers. Reid them makes an assumption that the victims were positioned to see each other, to which Rossi clarified that it's "not see, watch."

Find out what happens next when episode four of "Criminal Minds" season 11 is aired on Oct. 21.
