'Criminal Minds' season 11 spoilers: JJ and Rossi's daughter back with the BAU in episode 7

Episode seven of "Criminal Minds" season 11 sees the BAU team celebrating the return of a familiar face. But the happy interlude is cut short when they are called to help a disturbing case that goes beyond the usual S&M play. Meanwhile, Dr. Tara Lewis' new assignment will still allow her to consult with the team from time to time.

"Criminal Minds" fans will be happy to know that their ass-kicking mom, JJ (A.J Cook), is finally back in episode seven.

A trailer for the upcoming episode, titled "Target Rich," shows the team welcoming JJ back with hugs and champagne. And as with the other happy occasions that the team has tried to celebrate, their party is cut short when they are handed a case that has been described as "50 shades of twisted." One woman is apparently kidnapped and shown to have been chained at the neck. Rossi's (Joe Mantegna) daughter returns to ask the team for help in finding the missing college woman. She's seen asking a young man what he saw, to which he admitted to have seen everything. Whatever it was that the man saw was probably bad because even the seasoned members of the BAU appear to have been disturbed by it.

Fans have been waiting patiently for JJ to return and to see her new baby, Phoenix , portray baby Michael. Interestingly, JJ's new baby is the actress' real baby, Phoenix. As with her eldest son Mekhai (who play's JJ's son Henry), Cook wants her real child to portray her TV son.

JJ's impending return has led to speculations that Dr. Lewis (Aisha Tyler) will be leaving the BAU. But as it turns out, her new job is to coordinate the reviews of every serial killer in federal prison. This means that fans can still see her in "Criminal Minds," but not as often as they would like to. This is a good move on the part of the writers as it leaves the door open for the forensic psychologist to be able to return anytime. The character has shown remarkable chemistry with the others and it would be a waste of a good character - and Tyler's skill - if Dr. Lewis was just let go.

Fans can watch JJ's return when episode seven of "Criminal Minds" season 11 is aired on Nov. 11 on CBS.
