'Dance Moms' season 7 air date, spoilers: Is Nia Sioux's return uncertain?

(Twitter / Dance Moms)The exit of the Ziegler sisters Maddie and Mackenzie has prompted rumors that more cast will not return for "Dance Moms" season 7.

An interview with reality star dancer Nia Sioux seems to hint that her return on the seventh season of "Dance Moms" is not yet certain.

Auditions and casting for the upcoming season of "Dance Moms" are ongoing as the exit of star dancer Maddie Ziegler and her sister Maddie happens after season 6. It was previously rumored that another dancer, Jojo Siwa, might not return to the show, but recent talks debunk the claims.

An interview with OK! Magazine, however, seems to be hinting that Nia's return for the new season is still uncertain. When asked if she will stay on the show now that she's a Broadway star, she revealed, "I have a lot right now that's in the works and a lot of doors that are opening, and I just wanna take advantage of all the opportunities. So, I think I'm just gonna have to wait and see."

In the currently airing season, Nia is the only original elite team left and she has been previously rumored to stop appearing on the show. Her mom has seen to be at odds with Abby many times with how the director places her daughter in the performances. Nia's appearance on the broadway production "Trip of Love" has earned her good reviews and some viewers are speculating she might want to be where she is appreciated.

In the same interview, she also revealed that the best advice her mom gave her was to know her worth. She said, "She says that to me all the time because sometimes people keep on pushing you down and you just feel like you have to do whatever they say." She explained knowing and remembering one's worth will prevent him from being a doormat.

She also admitted to missing Maddie and Mackenzie since she's been spending a lot of time with them since she was four. However, she also shared that they still often text each other.

"Dance Moms" season 7 does not have a premiere date yet, but it is expected to return in early 2017.
