Lifetime's reality TV show "Dance Moms" is placed in a very precarious situation as its dance coach Abby Lee Miller will face sentencing for her fraud charges on Jan. 20. In spite of the possibility of a five to 10-year jail time for her case, Miller continues filming for new episodes every week with the promising dancers of the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) and their doting mothers.

The original schedule for Miller's sentencing was scheduled for Dec. 2. However, the government counsel, U.S. Attorney David Hickton, requested to postpone due to scheduling conflicts.

The International Business Times reported that the first nine episodes of season 7 have already been filmed, which means that even if Miller is sentenced to render jail time, she will still be seen in the first few episodes of the new season.

It is believed that Miller will be made to pay $5 million as a fine for 20 counts of fraud and for violating currency reporting laws should the judge hearing her case rule against her favor.

With Miller's legal predicament, it is highly likely that season 7 will be the reality show's final run. Some reports suggest that Miller might be forced to sell ALDC and that Debbie Allen of the Debbie Allen Dance Company is interested, only that she is also financially constrained.

Game N Guide previously reported that Allen phoned Miller and offered to take over the show that resulted to the latter's breakdown during episode 30 of season 6.

Meanwhile, Miller is rumored to be convincing dancers Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak to return to the show knowing very well that it might give the it the much needed boost it requires in order to keep airing.

The egress of one of the show's most talented dancers, Jojo Siwa, in a previous season made a lot of fans disappointed. A showdown between Ziegler and Lukasiak just might be the show's saving grace.

Lifetime has yet to reveal the release date of "Dance Moms" season 7.
