The cast names that are popping out of the rumor mill for the "Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)" 2016 include a Bachelor star, NFL players, a hit web television series star and more. Here is the latest cast rumor roundup for the upcoming season 22 of the hit American dancing competition on ABC.

The latest name that has been added on the roster of rumored contestants in the upcoming "DWTS" is none other than latest "The Bachelor" star Ben Higgins. Rumors on Higgins joining the dancing show surfaced after reports suggested that he might follow bachelor alum's, Chris Soules, footsteps. The season 19 star of "The Bachelor" finished 5th place of "DWTS" season 20.

When interviewed by E! News if Higgins is interested to join "DWTS," he said, "I don't want to chance my life, but if there's opportunity to enhance it, I'm all for it!"

Aside from Higgins, NFL players Mike Tolbert and Rashad Jennings are also included in the rumored candidates of the upcoming "DWTS." Another athlete is also rumored to join the two—Olympic gymnast Dominic Moceaunu.

Popular 90s sitcom "Full House" star Jodie Sweetin is also rumored to join the cast.

Another name that has surfaced in the rumor mill is the Tiffany 'Pennsatucky' Doggett protrayer of Netflix's hit original "Orange is the New Black," Taryn Manning. Rumors came after she posted a cryptic tweet last month with a hashtag "#DWTS."

"Chasing Life" star Italia Ricci has also been tagged to compete in the "DWTS" season 22. "Bachelorette" alum Kaitlyn Bristowe is also among the reality stars added on the cast rumors.

The names mentioned are still speculations since ABC has yet to announce the official celebrity lineup that will compete in "DWTS'" upcoming season, which is expected to come out mid-March. What has been confirmed so far is Len Goodman's return as the head judge.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 22 is set to air on Mar. 21 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
