"Dancing with the Stars" would return for another season in September and the anticipation for its next installment is already very palpable. While the list of the participating celebrities is scheduled to be released in a few weeks in August, this has not stopped the show's fans from speculating on who would be featured in the reality competition.

Unfortunately, some celebrities who were rumored to join the cast have since denied the claims.

Recently, Caitlyn Jenner has been reported to have signed on to the show. With her coming out and her new series being debuted, it did not seem like much of a long shot that the former Olympian would be part of "Dancing with the Stars" this year.

However, earlier this month, Jenner's representative categorically denied that she would appear on the show and said, "There is not nor have there ever been any negotiations on this matter. They inquired if she was interested in participating in the show and I said 'no thank you.' That is the extent of the communication."

NBA star, Anthony Davis, was also pegged to be dancing on the reality show this season. In a casual run in with TMZ, the basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans has confirmed that while he was approached, he does not have any interest in being part of DWTS.

"I actually got asked to do it but I can't dance so I mean would never want to do nothing that would embarrass myself.. sometimes I would do something just to have fun," said Davis.

On the other hand, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Khloe Kardashian are still speculated to have signed on to DWTS. Former Bachelors and Bachelorettes have been part of the dancing reality show so it really is not an overreach to see Bristowe on "Dancing with the Stars" this season.

Likewise, several Kardashian family members have participated in the series including Rob Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, which is why Khloe Kardashian joining the cast is not all that surprising as well.

"Dancing With the Stars" would return to ABC on Sept. 14, 2015.
